In May 2025, the Osttirol Tourism Association launched the “Iseltrail Photo Challenge.” Numerous professional and amateur photographers took advantage of this contest to showcase their best shots of the Isel River and the Iseltrail to a wide audience.

In the fall, the hiking, biking, and leisure season in Osttirol is extended.

The Osttirol Tourism Association has issued an initial positive assessment of the 2025 Iseltrail Photo Challenge: By the submission deadline on July 15, over 140 impressive photos had been submitted by amateur and professional photographers from Austria and abroad—a strong indication of the great interest in the unique natural scenery along the Iseltrail.
