In the Zettersfeld hiking area, you can take the Panoramaseilbahn gondola and the Steinermandl 4-person chairlift up into the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern to an elevation of 2,278 meters above sea level.
Zettersfeld is the undisputed sunniest spot in Lienz. Above the tree line, at about 1,800 m, vast alpine pastures and blooming mountain meadows stretch out.
Even during the ascent, you’ll be treated to magnificent views of Lienz and the Lienzer Dolomiten.
