Guided ski tours in Osttirol

For beginners and experts

Even 30 years ago, when ski touring was far from trendy, pioneers in the Villgratental valley were already pulling their skins over their ears. The sport is therefore just as much a part of the valley's history as its tranquillity, unspoilt nature and the original natural and cultural landscape. The quaint village of Innervillgraten with its 1,000 inhabitants and the even more tranquil village of Außervillgraten with 860 people live and love their seclusion in the rural high valley. If you want to explore them in a small group under professional guidance, a guided ski tour with an Osttirol mountain and ski guide is just the thing for you!

If you have experience in ski touring and want a real challenge, you can also take on the guided winter version of the Herz-Ass-Villgraten hike. During the multi-day ski tour crossing, you will cross four peaks and conquer around 1,400 meters of altitude per day. The tour destinations include the highest peaks of the Villgraten mountains, such as Marchkinkele, Hochgrabe and Hohes Haus. Not for the faint-hearted (or the faint of heart), but the local ski and mountain guides from Osttirol will get you safely to your destination. And they'll also have a few anecdotes from the history of the Villgratental valley up their sleeves. For more information and bookings, please contact the Osttirol ski and mountain guides directly.
