From January 28 to January 31 , 2027 , the 6th Winter Hiking Days will take place in Kartitsch, Austria’s first winter hiking village. All the winter hikes we’ll be taking during the event will be led by official hiking guides . This means that, in addition to the amazing views and many fascinating moments, you’ll also hear interesting stories about the region and its people. By the way: There’s a tour to suit every fitness level. The hikes’ varying difficulty levels ensure moments of joy without anyone having to gasp for breath.
The highlights of the tours are definitely those to the Dorfberg, Kartitsch’s local mountain and vantage point. Dedicated free shuttles will take you to the starting points, pick you up at the end points, and bring you back to your lodging after an eventful tour. Thanks to the fascinating winter landscape, as well as the traditional and regional activities—such as the winter picnic or group tobogganing—your winter hiking days in Kartitsch will remain a cherished memory for a long time to come!
