Weiße Spitze 2956 metres

The Weiße Spitze (2956 metres) and the Rote Spitze (2962 metres) are two massive summits, which cap off Brugger-Alm valley which proceeds south first of all. The names of both these summits are known the other way round in Villgratental. The tour to the Weiße Spitze starts at Brugger Alm heading to Ragötzllenke along a well signposted path. Above the Ragötzelalm (2280 metres) the route branches off to the south, in a trough going down from the Weiße Spitze. Across alpine meadows, later across scree and boulders, the path proceeds past the picturesque ‘Geschrittseen’, to the ridge, which proceeds east to west. Following this ridge to the east you come to the pre-summit, and, climbing further, using the secured cable areas on the "Schartl", you get to the main summit.

Starting point: Brugger Alm
Ascent time: around 4.5 hours
