The focus is on potatoes, apples, plums, and specialties featuring bacon, cheese, and mountain lamb—such as the classic Schöpsenbraten, served with Osttirol potatoes, the OSKAR. Thanks to this special potato and the East Tyrolean mountain lamb, Osttirol belongs to the select circle of Austria’s gourmet regions.
