Kuenz – natural distillery

On an ‘Osttirol breakfast table’ you will find naturally cloudy apple juice made by Kuenz, as well as apples, pears and plums, depending on the season.

Joast - Brot

‘All the good things are those that grow nearby’ thought master baker Ernst Joast to himself 15 years ago. Since then he has been processing the organic rye and organic spelt being grown again in Osttirol in his bake house.

Figerhof – goat’s cheese

Around 200 animals supply fresh milk each day which is processed in the farm’s own dairy in Kals into delicious specialities.>

Josef Filzmaier - Tea

Teas by Josef Filzmaier, in co-operation with quite a number of farmers, are organically grown.

Mühlstätter - Henkele

Mühlstätter butcher’s, East Tyrol‘s most traditional butcher in Matrei, has known the secrets of natural smoking for over 115 years and has continued to hand this knowledge down from generation to generation.

Ortner - Metzgermeister

MeisterMetzger Ortner – awarded the ‘Qualität Tirol’ seal of approval – make their own sausages and bacon.

Unterweger Früchteküche

In 1931 the Unterweger brothers founded their fruit processing company in Thal/Assling and processes lingonberries gathered from the nearby surroundings.

In the bio-sheep cream cheese of the Alois Fasching family all you will find is mountain air, water and grass.

Leonhard Steiner

The quality standards of the farmer family Steiner are guaranteed and therefore only the eggs of their own happy chickens can be found at the East Tyrol breakfast table.
