Whether summer or winter, blooming alpine meadows or snow-covered winter landscapes - every season knows how to impress here in its own way. In the warmer months, the natural beauties, such as the Oberhauser Zirbenwald, unfold their full splendor. A ski tour through the untouched nature of the Defereggental or a fun toboggan ride on one of the many perfectly prepared toboggan runs is particularly relaxing. Passionate ice skaters will also get their money's worth. In winter, the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern around St. Jakob i. D. offers a wide range of rewarding destinations. In addition to guided snowshoe tours and torchlight hikes with snowshoes,there are also full moon tours with snowshoes through the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern.
