Stage 2 begins in the hamlet of Auerfeld and leads first to the picturesque St. Nicholas Church. The church is well worth a visit, as it is one of the oldest in East Tyrol. The route then continues along gentle gravel paths along the Tauernbach stream to the district of Seblas. Here you cross the glacial river Isel and hike along the Hildenweg trail back to the Tauern community.
