Along the trails, the numerous mountain huts—all of which are staffed —in the heart of the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern serve hearty meals and refreshing drinks to locals and visitors alike. You can easily reach the starting points for easy to challenging high-altitude hikes or alpine summit ascents via the Kalser Bergbahnen (up to 2,400 meters) or the Kalser Glocknerstraße (up to 2,000 meters).
