Galitzenklamm Water Trail

Experience the Power of Water

Imagine a place where you can not only literally feel the power of water, but also observe it up close. A place that leaves you in awe the moment you step inside. The Water Trail winds along the Galitzenbach stream, initially through the forest, past rugged cliffs, and up to the viewing platforms. Spectacular bridges provide access to and views of breathtaking natural scenery. At the hikers’ feet lies the roaring spray of the Galitzenbach; on the steep rock faces, climbers concentrate intently on their routes. Attentive observers will also notice the artfully crafted wood carvings nestled among the rocks—and towering above it all are the Lienzer Dolomiten.
