Neue Reichenberger Hütte 2.586m

The new Reichenberger Hut lies at 2,586 meters in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park, making it an ideal stopover for the Lasörling High Trail or serving as a base for further summit tours in the Virgental. Surrounded by impressive mountains and pure nature, it is a perfect destination for everyone who enjoys hiking, seeks tranquility, and loves the alpine world. From Virgental, specifically from Prägraten am Großvenediger, the hut is reachable in approximately 5 hours of walking time easy to reach. An ascent from St. Jakob in Defereggen through the Trojeralmtal is also popular. The walking time from the Trojeralm parking lot is approximately 4 hours.
