The Ströden car park is an excellent starting point for numerous walks and places of interest....

...whether it’s the easy walk to the Islitzeralm, including walks to the Umbal Falls, the Clara Hut, the Neue Reichenberger Hut and much more

...or into the Mauertal valley with the Essener-Rostocker Hut and Lake Simony.

In addition, long-distance hikes start from Ströden, such as the beautiful “Venediger Höhenweg”, which every hiker should have on their to-do list, as well as the “Hoch Tirol Trail”, which runs through South Tyrol, and much more.

It is also possible to hike to the source of the Isel, which forms part of the final stage of the Isel Trail.
