From the end of April to the traditional finale on June 24th, St. John's Day, the popular but unfortunately too short asparagus season lasts. The healthy asparagus spears were once only cultivated in monasteries and apothecaries' gardens as true remedies and later served to the rich and powerful as royal vegetables.
Today, our kitchen team delights your palate with new creations from the freshly harvested asparagus from Lavanttal and East Tyrol – from soup to dessert. Martin also recommends delicious wines to go with it.
