9912 Anras
The Pfleghaus in Anras stands tall and massive. Together with the parish church, it dominates the village. It is one of the most important secular buildings in East Tyrol. An architectural gem. Originally built as a court house for the prince bishops of Brixen, it bears stone witness to feudal self-confidence and lordly power.
In recent years, the Pfleghaus has been extensively renovated both inside and out. Now it shines in new splendour. And particularly exciting: the wood-panelled rooms on the 2nd floor house.
Multimedia, interactive special exhibition Summer 2023
WIR TIROLER SIND LUSTIG - The role of folk music for tourism. This is exactly what the exhibition in the Pfleghaus in Anras aims to not only explain, but also make it possible to experience. Of course, the East Tyrolean connection is not neglected: there are recordings of a Tyrolean evening from the 1980s and, of course, of the legendary Sepp Huter with his Großglocknerkapelle.
Entrance fee: € 6,00; up to 16 years: € 2,00
