Zirbenalm

The Zirbenalm in Hopfgarten in Defereggen is located at 2,000 m above sea level in the midst of the untouched mountain world of Osttirol. Surrounded by alpine meadows and featuring an impressive panorama all the way to the Großglockner, it is the ideal place for those seeking peace, nature, and an authentic cabin vacation. The cabin is situated in the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern and is directly accessible by car.

As a rustic self-catering cabin without electricity, the Zirbenalm offers accommodation for up to six people and can be rented during the summer months. The cozy kitchen is well-equipped, and cooking is traditionally done on a wood-burning stove. Two bedrooms and a mattress dormitory provide ample sleeping space.

Surrounding the cabin, numerous hiking trails invite exploration. Grazing cows on the surrounding pastures enhance the authentic alpine atmosphere, allowing you to fully enjoy the peace and seclusion.

Dogs are warmly welcome. The fee is € 10,00 per dog per night.
