Alpine hike to the Lienzer Hütte

The Lienzer Hütte is an ideal excursion destination on the sunny side of the Hohe Tauern National Park - perfectly suited for family trips at the weekend as well as a starting point for climbing several 3000m peaks in the immediate vicinity.

Description

From the Seichenbrunn car park (1,668 m), follow the forest road past the Gaimberger Alm and the Hofalm straight to the Lienzerhütte. Even inexperienced hikers and Sunday day-trippers can easily reach the hut via the wide gravel path.


This hike is suitable for strollers with good tires. For strollers without good tires, this tour is not recommended.
