This beautiful walking trail starts at Korberplatz in Matrei i.O. and leads steadily towards the Tauernbach stream through Prosegg and finally past the historic houses and alpine pastures of Gruben and Berg. After a few more kilometres, we finally arrive at the Matreier Tauernhaus. From there, we make our way via the Außergschlöss and other points of interest, such as the rock chapel, to the Innergschlöss, our destination.
