Description

The panorama slope is at the head of the valley and provides a superb view to the glacier mountains of the Maurertal. The start is in Ströden and proceeds initially via a large car park through a natural section of forest to the Mauerer-Alm bridge. From here, the route climbs slightly and proceeds via the broad pasture land back to the starting point. The panorama slope is lovely to tackle from "Mariä Lichtmess" (2nd February) thanks to its sunny location.
