South Railway Heating House, 1871

A great experience—not just for train enthusiasts

In a 94-meter-long, three-track hall, as well as in the adjacent rooms, steam, diesel, and electric locomotives from the years 1890–1978 (some of which visitors can walk through) are on display, along with technical equipment such as signal boxes and signaling systems. A visit is worthwhile not only for railroad enthusiasts.

The Lienz Railway Enthusiasts Association also organizes interesting trips every year with its own vintage train. For more information, visit www.ebfl.at
