Weak high-pressure influence will shape our weather as the new week begins. Consequently, once any patches of fog or low-level stratus clouds have cleared, the sun will frequently shine during the day, pushing temperatures in the lowlands to pleasant, late-summer levels near 25 degrees. By the afternoon, however, cumulus clouds will once again form over some mountains, bringing a slight chance of thunderstorms or rain showers.
