At the Großglockner Resort Kals-Matrei—which, by the way , is the largest ski area in the region—you can enjoy the unique view from the Adlerhorst of more than 60 peaks over 3,000 meters. The Defereggental Valley, known for its exceptionally reliable snow conditions, will enchant you with its perfectly groomed slopes at the St. Jakob Ski Center, which have even been awarded the Tyrol Province’s seal of quality for slopes. At the Sillian Hochpustertal Ski Center, don’t miss the ridge run stretching over 11 kilometers. And be sure to take your time as you carve your turns at Golzentipp with the Obertilliach Mountain Railways —you’ll never get enough of the panoramic views!

Up at Zettersfeld, you’ll find wide runs, authentic Tyrolean delicacies, and magnificent panoramic views. Down below, visitors and locals alike stroll through town, and the next ski bus stop is never far away.
