Familienpark Zettersfeld

Get into the gondola and up to Zettersfeld! Along the way you will find 15 adventure play stages.

From the Zettersfeldbahn mountain station to the Nature Friends' Hut and back to "the Alm," you will find 15 adventure play stations. All stations invite you to play and romp or to relax, while also providing interesting information about the 15 animals present. The adventure story of the family park mascot "Steiner Mandl" brings the stations to life with a little imagination and guarantees an exciting day at Zettersfeld. (Rental of the play set is available directly at the gondola exit)

Adventure Play:
The adventure set, consisting of a racket, ball, and storybook, can be purchased directly from the Lienz cable cars. A deposit of € 15,00 will be charged per play set. 
 
Play the courses from 1-15.
You have a maximum of 6 strokes per course.
Record your attempts in the list.
If you miss, you get 7 points.
If the ball jumps out of the course, place it back.
The one with the least points wins.

The Steiner Mandl and the Animals
The Steiner Mandl is a legendary figure, a mountain spirit. Tirelessly, it wanders through the mountains. It speaks with animals and plants and inquires about their well-being. The Steiner Mandl loves and protects nature. Some claim to have even seen the Steiner Mandl playing with its stick and a ball. The Steiner Mandl rarely shows itself to humans, but those who are vigilant and open will feel its presence everywhere. The children are certainly convinced that the Steiner Mandl is a living stone figure. And the elders agree with them. Those who care for stone figures and tread carefully through the mountains will be shown by the Steiner Mandl the greatest treasure of the earth. It is the diversity and beauty of nature at the family-friendly Zettersfeld – the sun plateau high above Lienz in East Tyrol.
