New Year's concert

With a lively and diverse program, the Tiroler Kammerorchester InnStrumenti welcomes the new year 2027 in the Stadtsaal Lienz.
The audience can expect a musical fireworks display full of virtuosity, joie de vivre, and musical surprises.

Conductor Gerhard Sammer spans a musical arc from the Classical era to groovy sounds with the versatile pianist and composer Christian Wegscheider, the esteemed boundary walker between jazz and European musical tradition. The American singer Chanda Rule adds special accents, enriching the program with her expressive voice.

Of course, the music of the Strauss dynasty cannot be missed at a New Year's concert. The dazzling highlight is the famous "Blue Danube Waltz," which traditionally creates a festive New Year's atmosphere.
