Farm experience - making cheese at the Oswalderhof farm
Hans and Viktoria Obererlacher from Oswalderhof in Obertilliach are fully dedicated to cheese making – from the meadow to the plate. Like his sister Anja at Niescherhof, Hans embodies the philosophy of reinterpreting old agricultural knowledge. His cows graze outside all year round, milked directly on the alpine pasture, and the milk is processed into fine soft cheese at the farm. “Grass, cow, milk, cheese” – this is how Hans humorously sums it up. During the tour of the farm and the cheese-making session, Hans and Viktoria share their passion. And of course, you can take the homemade cheese home with you.
