Guided winter hikes

In the winter hiking village Kartitsch

Get very close to nature! Experience the pristine winter landscape in Kartitsch – the first winter hiking village in Austria. The authentic mountaineering village Kartitsch at 1356 m in the Osttirol Gailtal is the ideal base for winter hikes. To enjoy the extensive all-round view of the Lienz Dolomites, the Carnic Alps as far as Italy, you do not need to conquer many altitude metres due to the high starting location. The altitude assures snow whilst at the same time boasting one of the highest numbers of sunshine hours in Austria. Winter hiking slows you down, through active regeneration in harmony with nature the body and mind come together again.
