Skizentrum St. Jakob im Defereggental

Skiing with a incredible view

Perfectly prepared pistes, awarded the Piste Quality Seal by the Tyrolean state, connect the original mountain world in the Osttirol Defereggen Valley. The ski centre St.Jakob in the Defereggen Valley at 2500 metres affords a grandiose panorama of the mountain world with countless three-thousand-metre peaks all around Grossglockner and Grossvenediger. There are also great prospects of unlimited fun in the snow on two skis. The ski lifts connect a piste area with treeless sunny slopes, rapid downhills into the valley and enjoyable family slopes.

New chairlift and slopes in the ski centre St. Jakob/Defereggental

Enormous added value for the Ski Centre St. Jakob in the Defereggen Valley: the new Leppleskofel 6-seater chairlift with heated premium seats and weather bonnets, which will open this year in December 2022 in the St. Jakob Ski Centre in Defereggen Valley, will further enhance the quality of East Tyrol's mountain lifts. The new chairlift runs from the valley station of the former Almspitz lift up to 2,683 metres, making it the highest cable car installation in Osttirol. In addition to the construction of the new chairlift, the range of slopes is also being extended by 3 runs.
