Hike to the Rabenstein ruins

Description

The hike starts in the centre of Virgen and first leads to the district of Göriach. By this point, you have already covered almost the entire elevation gain and can enjoy the fabulous view of the sunny village of Virgen. After the upper bridge in Göriach, you have two options: you can continue along the lower path or turn left and follow the hairpin bends to the upper path, which offers even more beautiful views. In the ruins themselves, information boards tell the story of the ruins and show photos of finds, which can be viewed after returning to the centre in the exhibition ‘Virgen - Beyond Time’.
