Fun and action for the whole family
Get into the gondola and up to Zettersfeld! Along the way you will find 15 adventure play stages. All of them invite to play and romp or to relax, with interesting information on the 15 occurring animals being shared. The adventure story of the family park’s mascot "Steiner Mandl" makes the stages come to life with a little imagination and guarantees an exciting day on the Zettersfeld.
The adventure kit, consisting of a racket, ball and little story book, can be purchased directly from the Lienz Bergbahnen at a fee of EUR 6 per adult and EUR 3 per child (EUR 15 security deposit per kit).
The Steiner Mandl is a legendary figure, a mountain spirit. Tirelessly, it wanders through the mountains. It talks to animals and plants and asks them how they do. The Steiner Mandl loves and protects the wildlife. Some say they even saw the Steiner Mandl playing with a stick and a ball. People rarely see the Steiner Mandl, but those who are aware and open-minded feel that it is all around. Anyways, children are sure that the Steiner Mandl is a living little man made of rock. And the old people agree with them. If you take care of cairns and walk carefully through the mountains, Steiner Mandl shows you the greatest treasure on earth. It is the diversity and beauty of nature at the family-friendly Zettersfeld - the sunny plateau high above Lienz in Osttirol.
