The Porzehütte (1,942 m) is located on the Carnic High Trail. The ascent to the hut is from Obertilliach via the Dorfertal valley. With your own car, access is permitted as far as Klapfsee. From there the Porzehütte is easily accessible via a gravel road (approx. 1 1/4 hours) also for senior citizens and children. Mountain hikers usually use the shortcut via the trail (about 1 hour). In addition, the Porzehütte is also a popular destination for mountain bikers - summer hospitality only (from 17th June until the end of September)! Guests can look forward to cosy guest rooms and a sun terrace with a magnificent view (warm cuisine all day). We also offer overnight accommodation in new, beautiful mattress dormitories. The renovated hut is the starting point for wonderful day tours, e.g. to the Porze (2,589 m) or the Spitzköfele (2,314 m) or to the Val Visdende on the Italian side behind the Tilliacher Joch.
