A low-pressure system is affecting the region, and new rain fronts are moving in with southwesterly upper-level winds. Rain is frequent and widespread—at times very heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms. During the day, there will only be brief periods without rain. Temperatures will drop significantly. Snowfall is even expected in the mountains. Especially toward evening and overnight, snow will gradually fall down to elevations below 2,000 meters.
