Historic walls, steeped in history,
harmoniously paired with modern architecture,
nestled in a landscape of meadows, mountains, and forests.
The farm has been family-owned for generations and was rebuilt after the great fire of 1904. For many years, farming shaped everyday life here.
Now, in its fourth generation, the house is entering a new chapter. As part of an extensive renovation, the interior has been carefully redesigned, while the building’s original character has been deliberately preserved on the outside. The result is a harmonious blend of history and contemporary living.
The four newly created holiday apartments stand out for their high-quality materials, clean architectural lines, and warm, modern atmosphere. All furniture was custom-made by a carpenter, giving each apartment its own distinctive character.
A special highlight is the in-house sauna, available free of charge during your stay — ideal for unwinding after an active day in the mountains.
Located in Abfaltersbach, the house is the ideal base for your holiday: hiking, biking, skiing, or simply enjoying nature — all within easy reach.
Whether you are looking for an active holiday or a peaceful retreat, this is a place to arrive, unwind, and feel at home.

The original “Schererhof” has been given a new soul by Lucas Ortner. With great dedication and sensitivity, the former farm has been transformed into a place of peace and relaxation.
He consciously chose renovation over new construction. “Such a special and harmonious atmosphere can only be found in a house with history.” It is precisely this unique character that defines the house. The apartments are meant to be more than just a place to stay—they are a retreat to arrive, unwind, and feel at ease, quietly located in the heart of nature.
With warmth and a welcoming spirit, your host Lucas makes your holiday in East Tyrol truly special.
