From the Wallhorn winter car park, this idyllic trail climbs gently uphill on the sunny side of the valley. Even the first section rewards you with magnificent views over the snow-covered landscape before the trail leads into a quiet winter forest lined with gnarled conifers. At around 1,700 metres above sea level, the view opens up over the glittering valley and the village of Prägraten a. G. – a moment to take a deep breath and marvel.
The destination at 1,945 metres is nestled in an enchanting winter setting, where you can really feel the tranquillity of the mountains. For the way back, simply follow the familiar ascent route.
