Wasserbetriebenes Sägewerk anno 1800 - Führung

Experience the only water-powered demonstration sawmill (Venetian saw) in Carinthia up close. You will learn a lot of interesting facts about forest and timber work from times gone by. Visit a mill and models of mills from the last master mill builder of the Lesachtal. View agricultural machines and tools in our small museum. Film presentation about hay transport, timber drift on the Gail, and the mills in the Lesachtal, followed by a demonstration of sawing. Prices: Adults 5.00 EUR, Children aged 6 to 15 years: 2.00 EUR Equipment: Hiking equipment (good footwear) Well suited for children aged 4 years and up Meeting point: Adventure and Forest Experience World Lesachtal in Ladstatt above Liesing Duration: 2 hours Beverages will be well provided!
