Vortrag Lechweg und Iseltrail - Zwei touristische Erfolgsgeschichten
How can a sensitive natural space be gently explored without over-staging it? How does a sustainable flagship product emerge from the primal force of water and a clear vision that excites guests and brings long-term value creation to the region?
The Lechweg and the Iseltrail are regarded as highly regarded showcase projects for gentle tourism throughout the Alps. Both long-distance hiking trails manage the balancing act between authentic nature conservation and high tourist appeal: They focus on the untamed river landscapes of the Lech and the Isel instead of creating mere backdrops.
On this evening, the leading actors of both projects will take a behind-the-scenes look: They will share their experiences from the initial idea through the hurdles of implementation to successful branding and regional cooperation.
