The snack station Steineckenalm is our little cabin, lovingly managed in one of the most beautiful spots of the Lesachtal. Due to its convenient location, the cabin is also easily accessible for older and mobility-impaired individuals and families with strollers in about 30 minutes from Obergail (at the barrier Obergailerbach). If the weather should not cooperate, which can happen in the Lesachtal, we are happy to be there for you.
For many of our guests, the journey to the Steineckenalm has already become a cherished tradition. A special moment for us is also the amazement on the faces of our big and small guests when they experience our "gem" for the first time.

Upon arriving at the cabin, we are pleased to welcome you with homemade juices, cool beer, and other thirst-quenchers. In a wonderful setting and under radiant sunshine, we invite you and your family to sample our small but fine selection of dishes - there is something for everyone! Our famously good "Brettljause" and our freshly prepared stews are, of course, a must-have. But the homemade cakes are also worth indulging in.
We invite you to experience simple, good hut cuisine in a breathtaking ambiance with a team that gladly accommodates your wishes.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, which can happen in Lesachtal, we are happy to assist you.
