The Berggasthaus Goldried is located in the Grossglockner Resort Kals Matrei at 2,150m above sea level and is one of the most beautiful vantage points in all of Osttirol. The large sun terrace offers a 360° panorama of the National Park Hohe Tauern with a view of the Großglockner and the impressive glaciers of the Venediger region.
As an official National Park partner, we offer home-cooked meals made from local products and pay special attention to a small CO² footprint, e.g. by saving energy and avoiding waste. In summer, the Goldried mountain inn is easily accessible with the Matreier or Kalser gondola, and a children's playground awaits young mountaineers. The fabulous Goldriedriese hiking trail and the mountain bike route "Klaunzerberg" lead directly to us on the "Landn" (e-bike charging station available).
In winter we have the sunniest location in the ski area. We offer a wide selection of homemade dishes and desserts, but also vegetarian and vegan dishes. We, the Köll family, vlg. Kerschbaumer, are the third generation to run the business and look forward to your visit!
