When the low winter sun bathes the "sun balcony" of Prägraten a.G. in golden light, this ranger hike begins.
Right from the start, the enchanting rustic village of Bichl captivates with its traditional farmhouses. From here, we leisurely continue through so-called "larch meadows," a centuries-old cultural landscape that creates a unique atmosphere in the snow. Along the way, the rangers provide exciting knowledge about the animal and plant world and explain how cleverly the individual organisms have adapted to these harsh conditions. With a bit of luck, native songbirds can be observed "feeding" at the bird feeding station.
