Exhibition "Die Blüten in meinem Kopf" di Ina Loitzl
On Thursday, 26th February 2026, the exhibition "The Blossoms in My Head" by the artist Ina Loitzl will be opened at the Kunstraum Leibl in Lienz.
INA LOITZL is an internationally active artist who uses CUTOUTS: She cuts complex, fragile floral patterns from old materials such as bookbinding paper, photography, or leather. The oval, blue motifs appear cool, multilayered, and visually challenge the viewers. Longtime collectors report of "images that change daily" and new optical discoveries.
LOITZL addresses physical fertility, beauty, and vegetative diversity in the environmental context. She transforms her plant-like ornamental designs into a lengthy transformation process using a simple cutting tool. She speaks of "PHANTASY CLONES": almost Sisyphus-like against extinction, she cuts out a self-invented biodiversity. The blossoms in her head symbolize the desires for preserving the fragility of nature. CUTOUTS are positive testimonies to the beauty of nature in harmony with humanity.
For the vernissage on February 26th starting at 7.00 PM , the artist Ina Loitzl will be present and looks forward to personal exchanges with art-interested visitors.
The exhibition can be viewed until 24th March 2026 by appointment at any time.
