Refugium Tegischer Bachl

Perhaps the most beautiful place in the municipality of St. Jakob i.D., approx. 1 km before the start of the village, on the right above the main road is the Tegischer Bachl refuge. Built about 100 years ago as a wooden log building, it radiates the charm of that time. The balconies invite you to enjoy the sun all year round. The neighbouring torrent adds to the picturesque, rustic mountain backdrop and gives the house its name. In winter it is not far to the ski centre opposite. After modernising the holiday flats, the house was reopened in 2024.
