Vernisage "Zwei Welten - Generationen verbinden

Mattersberger Florian, born in 1941, also known as "Hansa Florian," has been painting since his school days. His joy in painting with oil and acrylic paints did not last long, leading to a longer artistic pause. It was only when his son Martin gave him a book on watercolor painting that he resumed his artistic pursuits. Since then, he has exclusively painted with watercolors and wishes to present his works to the public.

Matthias Karrè, 29 years old, is a master sculptor from Matrei i.O.. His passion for carving was kindled during childhood by his great-grandfather and grand-uncle. After his training in Elbigenapl and the master school for wood carving in Munich, he gained valuable experience, won the "Weiße Rose" competition, and participated in restoration work in the Vatican. Since his return to Matrei i.O., he has been working as a self-employed artist in Atelier Karrè and wishes to present his works publicly.
