On Friday, July 31, 2026, the market square in Sillian will transform into a stage for the Ski Roller City Sprint as part of the Pletzer Resorts Summer Grand Prix. Austria's best roller skiing and cross-country skiing women and men will compete on a circuit of about 1 kilometer in thrilling sprint duels for the fastest times.

The competition starts at 5:30 p.m. with the prologue, followed by the final and knockout rounds from 6:30 p.m. Visitors can experience the athletes up close and look forward to a varied sports evening featuring top-class roller skiing and exciting races in the town center.
