Osttiroler Kammermusiker - classic concert

The Osttirol Chamber Musicians will celebrate the anniversary of their first public performance with their friends on July 12 at their 5th matinee. While last year on that Sunday the program featured the Septet by Ludwig van Beethoven, this successful ensemble wants to present its audience two gems of romantic chamber music literature this time: the lesser-known 2nd Double Quartet by Louis Spohr (1827) and the famous Octet in E-flat major op. 20 (1825) by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, which he composed at just 16 years of age. The concert will take place, as usual, in the "living room atmosphere" of the Iselsberg-Kristall against the impressive backdrop of the Lienz Dolomites. Once again, the Osttirol Chamber Musicians – this time featuring eight highly motivated instrumentalists of all ages – will take on both technically and musically demanding challenges. An exciting and enjoyable morning is guaranteed.
