Hermenegild Hamerl, former landlord of the "Rautter" hotel in Matrei i.O., first built a riding path and then a hut at the transition from Matrei i.O. to Kals a.G. Thus, in August 1876, the Kals-Matreier-Törl House was opened.
The history of this hut, but also the associated individuals, its surroundings, much from the past life in the hut, as well as some "special" guests and more are the content of this anniversary special exhibition.
