Wolfgang Mitterer’s organ and electronics concert “GRAND JEU”

After years of absence, Wolfgang Mitterer, born in Lienz and one of the most important contemporary composers, is giving two concerts in Osttirol again.
The specialist in electroacoustic music will present his composition "Grand Jeu" at the invitation of the Cultural Committee of the Market Municipality of Matrei in Osttirol, mediated by Peter Raneburger, in the St. Alban Parish Church.
The performance guarantees maximum listening enjoyment, as the "Matreier Dom" provides ideal conditions for an unforgettable sound experience.
Wolfgang Mitterer lives in Vienna; his work oscillates between composition and open form. He produces sound installations, writes commissioned works, and composes operas and film music. In addition to numerous awards, he has received, among others, the Austrian State Prize for Music and the Prix Ars Electronica.
