The most famous vacation village of East Tyrol, St. Jakob in the Defereggental is the favourite for many because of its unspoilt countryside, which has a lot to offer to the guests.

It is best known for its quiet, friendly and romantic atmosphere.
The sportive skier carves in the large, snowy Brunnalm area. The family can use the Staller Pass area for Cross-country skiing, winter walking or even venture out on a ski-tour.
Guests do not need to use their car, as a free ski-bus serves the entire valley.
There is something suitable also for the non-skier: we offer sledging, ice skating, ice skittle, walks and horse-drawn sleigh rides.
