The over 100 km ski-runs have ideal snow conditions thanks to the high altitude. In any case there are snow-making facilities covering some 90% of the area. 16 comfortable top quality chair-lifts and cable cars take the visitor from the starting point Matrei (920 m) to the winter atmosphere of the top station of the Großglockner Resort (2.405). Facing the dreamlike scenery of Austria’s highest mountain you can ski on well prepared, charming runs for all levels, wonderful deep-snow slopes, funparks, halfpipes and an exclusive carver piste.
