From the Dolomitenhütte car park via the normal route to Karlsbader Hütte, from there continue initially on the route to Kerschbaumer Törl, then after this bear left on a clearly signposted path up to the memorial cross under the Teplitzer summit. Continue across scree fields to Ödkar and on the path up to the Ödkar wind gap. Right at the entrance there is a signpost with information about the via ferrata route.

Same as the ascent, but bypassing the Eggerturm.

Description

The route which has a steel cable throughout takes you to one of the loveliest viewing mountains in the Laserzkessel.


In spite of the moderately difficult sections, the tour has an alpine character and with the variants via Eggerturm, there is a technically challenging, exposed section.
