The Kals Hiking Kickoff marks the start of the hiking season. A gripping talk by extreme mountaineer Roger Schäli takes you to the highest peaks and through extreme climbs, and is the first event on the program. Over the next two days, you’ll hike through lush, flowering meadows, encounter small, friendly marmots as well as young, spirited chamois and ibex, and enjoy culinary and musical delights during stops at our rustic mountain huts in the Ködnitz and Dorfertal valleys.
