Chalets Santner

Our three chalets are located in one of the most beautiful Alpine valleys of Tyrol - St. Jakob in Defereggen - a picturesque mountain village in the heart of the East Tyrolean mountain world. The chalets have a quiet, idyllic forest location, surrounded by fifty three-thousanders, crystal-clear mountain waters, and the largest larch forest in Europe. In summer, hikers, mountaineers, and families enjoy the hiking area in the midst of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Whether professional or hobbyist, there is something for everyone!

In winter, they enjoy the direct location at the valley station of Bergalm Brunnalm (about 200m away) - the popular ski paradise with a children’s ski school and practice slope. The cross-country ski trail entrance is right at the front door.

It takes about 5 minutes by car to reach the center of St. Jakob. A beautiful hiking trail leads you to the town in about 20 minutes on foot. Here you will find shops for daily needs as well as inns and restaurants.
